MD's inductive proximity switch model AM1/AN-4A is a proximity sensor used to detect metal objects. It detects the change in the magnetic field between the object and the switch to realize the opening and closing operation of the proximity switch. Its working principle is based on the law of magnetic induction and the law of electromagnetic induction. When a certain area in the magnetic field changes, the change in the magnetic flux in the coil wire will generate an induced electromotive force, which will then form an induced current in the working circuit of the proximity switch, thereby changing the state of the switch.
