The inductive proximity sensors IMS combine the tried-and-tested, robust SICK mechanics with advanced electronics. With their E1 type approval from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority, the sensors are particularly suitable for use in mobile machinery. The IMS products feature load dump protection, electromagnetic compatibility and a large voltage range of 7.2 V to 60 V DC. The versions with connecting cables offer sufficient support for the mobile male connector, as these are made of oil-resistant material and have a cross-section of 0.5 mm². The ambient temperature range is from –40 °C to +100 °C, so that the sensor functions in any weather.
