The P3-70010 has a contact resistance of less than 25 milliohms because the OTTO design has an inherent rocking action that breaks the weld and wipes the contacts clean. The P3-70010 is a commercial version of the P1 push button switch, which has a greatly reduced service life under extreme conditions in certain industrial environments. The button is sealed by a silicone sleeve on the otto patented "rolling sleeve" to provide longer service life and smoother operation over a wide temperature range. The P3 design offers unique terminal connections for increased flexibility of the moving element. Special versions can be provided with five terminals to control up to four circuits.
