3M 2131C It is a special flame retardant polyurethane, an ideal material for cold patching of mining cables. 2 1.5 ounce / 612g.
Can be used for cable joint insulation treatment, operating voltage up to 1000 volts, long-term operating temperature 90°C, overload temperature 130°C. Its unique formula is particularly able to withstand the harsh conditions of mine cables and mobile cables. It can also be used for underwater robot cable repair and cable docking vulcanization and filling.

3M™ Scotchcast™ 2131 Flame Retardant Electrical Insulating Resin is a flexible, durable polyurethane resin used for patching jackets or splicing portable cables.
Steps for usage :
lFirst remove the outer packaging paper bag;
Before removing the spacer strips, squeeze the resin on both sides a few times to pre-mix them;
l Squeeze the resin on one side toward the middle spacer, squeeze the spacer open and mix it into the resin on the other side;
l Mix the two-component resin alternately back and forth for about 30 seconds;
l Mix the resin in the corners or on both sides of the bag thoroughly, and then squeeze it back and forth without exceeding 30 seconds, at which point the color should be relatively uniform;
lCut a small opening and pour the resin into the location where it needs to be installed.
3M™ Scotchcast™ Flame Retardant Electrical Insulating Resin 2131 is a two-component polyurethane resin designed for use in replacing cable jackets when splicing or repairing mining and portable cables. Its formulation makes it particularly suitable for withstanding the harsh conditions in which mining and portable cables must operate.
Flame Retardant Resin 2131 is also used as insulation material in cable joints with working voltages up to 1000 volts and is designed for 194ºF (90ºC) continuous use/266ºF (130ºC) overload.

Product should remain in sealed container/envelope until ready to use. In cold weather, warm closed mixing bag to 60°F (16°C) or higher before mixing. Keep in a warm area, such as truck cab or inside bag until ready to use.
General Description
Closed Mixing Bags:
lTear off the protective film and take out the sealed mixing bag
l Before breaking the barrier, squeeze the bag to pre-mix the separate ingredients.
l Firmly grasp each flat side of the bag near the center barrier and simultaneously pull the sides of the barrier apart with the sides of your thumbs extending through the barrier. Break the barrier all the way to the side seals.
l Alternately squeeze each end of the bag to force the resin back and forth ( 30 seconds).
l Peel the resin from the corners of the bag and continue mixing until the color is uniform (up to an additional 30 seconds).
l Clip off a corner of the sealed mixing bag and pour in
